At Humour Me, we don’t do a lot of post-work partying. As an introvert who highly values personal time, I’m quite happy with this arrangement. Having said that, it is still important to take a little time every now and then to boost team moral. And that’s exactly what we did this week.
With multiple campaigns coming to a close and the Red Fort project’s deadline looming dangerously close (we have eight weeks to produce a show that would typically take at least 6 months – to say we are now permanently in a state of panic would be an understatement,) stress levels were peaking, and we decided that it was time for a much needed break.
But instead of doing the typical routine of going to a bar, we decided to get some (relatively) fresh air at a dog farm/spa owned by our Vice President. This farm is located on Sohna Road, and is tucked away from the noise and bustle of the metropolis. People can leave their dogs here when they go on vacation, and they have plenty of space to explore, play and spend time with other dogs.
This week, the entire team spent the day at the farm, taking in the fresh air, playing with the dogs and eating lots of food.
It was a very relaxing day, and my other Creative Associate, Kokila Srivastav frequently reminisces about how she had a great time. But now we’re back to the grind, and things are about to get very busy for us.
