Every year, Paper Boat runs a campaign that encourages users to make paper boats to raise money for children’s education, and for every boat made, there’s a donation made for the cause. Paper Boat aimed to create a campaign that would surpass all the previous records.

Our Approach

In a tech-driven world, the practice of making paper boats is on the verge of extinction. Reviving the charm of making paper boats meant shifting focus to children and families instead of adults. We chose to target children and family audiences. We decided to bring back the magic of paper boats in children’s eyes through an animated film. Within three months, we crafted a 4.5-minute animation film titled 'Hope, the Boat'. The storyline follows the magical journey of a paper boat brought to life by a child's wish.

Key Results

Paper Boat decided to make it their official brand film. It garnered over 2 Mn views on YouTube, and 2800 shares on Facebook. It was Campaign India’s pick of the week and was even compared to Disney by Scoopwhoop. The film won 8 international awards for its animation, in non-branded categories, a Power Brands Glam Bollywood Award and also a Mini Box Office Award across 2 categories.
