About The Job

We are seeking a compassionate, driven and experienced people & culture leader to join our business team, based out of New Delhi. This person would be responsible for managing our talent density, recruiting and talent mining for all our departments, conducting first round of interviews, leading trainings and becoming a business behaviour coach for the talent at Humour Me.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • When you think of the HR Lead role at Humour Me, think of your job less as a HR Manager to handle payrolls, address grievances, and becoming a mouthpiece for the senior management, but as someone who is madly driven by bringing out the best in people to drive high performance business growth for our agency. You would play the role of a business and behaviour coach to the talent at our agency. The character archetype for this role would be someone like Wendy Rhoades from the hit drama series Billions.
  • Think of yourself as the chief talent density officer at the agency. One of your critical functions would be to improve the talent density within each department. You would be the first line of defense when it comes to which talent we let in within our doors. Therefore, finding undiscovered gems and hidden potential in unconventional places would be critical to your success at Humour Me.
  • The HR Lead will be responsible for not only mining talent but also convincing the best talent to join the agency. We see this role as an all-stars scout for a top NBA team, that goes to the ends of the earth to get the best creative, business and strategic talent to sign with us. This means you’ll be our key relationships manager with the top graduate schools and universities.
  • The HR Lead will be responsible for conducting interviews, running strategic tests, conducting robust background checks, and running bespoke trainings for each department as a part of our induction process.
  • Business and leadership coaching would be integral to how we view your success within our four walls. We see you as the coach that keeps our team in high spirits to ensure we drive high performance outcomes from each and every team member within the agency.
  • Writing amazing job descriptions and being adept with today’s digital recruiting tools in order to mine the best talent. This might seem like a no-brainer, but you’ll be surprised how many seasoned HR folk get this wrong.
  • You are expected to be networked with and connected to the best talent at competitor agencies, whilst also possessing the capability of bringing them into our system.
  • This role is designed to keep our teams’ performance in check. We are seeking an HR Lead who will be a business leader in their own right. One of your crucial functions will be to run our team leads’ OKRs and keep them in check. Ensuring we do monthly/quarterly reviews to foster a culture of high performance and growth.
  • For us culture is not pool tables, and parties, it’s a shared set of values and principles, that dictate the rules of our tribe. We are seeking someone who can guard these value systems with their life.
  • Running reviews and designing a bespoke appraisals system for the agency that helps chart out a clear roadmap for growth for the talent that works at the agency.
  • Predicting talent gaps and creating a clear plan for recruitment before we have a talent crunch, whilst ensuring we are keeping the overall health of the business in mind at all times.
  • Building a knowledge management system for ease and transfer of critical trainings and coaching related information within our departments and ensuring our proprietary information and intellectual capital remains protected.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in HR/Talent Development/Business Coaching/Leadership Coaching with a proven track record in a senior position with exposure to all functions of a creative agency.
  • Prior experience in building and maintaining strong creative agency and business talentrelations.
  • Proven track record of having achieved quantitative business results with HR as a business partner in current role.
  • Proven track record in talent networking, and keeping up to date with today’s digital recruiting tools.
  • Proven track record of having built high talent density teams at other top performing agencies and recruiting.
  • Proven ability to have built induction and knowledge management systems.
  • Qualifications in organisation/business psychology and/or business coaching.
