About The Job
We are looking for a discerning creative and strategic thinker who will act as a key liaison between our account management/business team and our various creative departments from art, copy to film production. The creative strategist is responsible to drive the daily creative and strategic functions on the account/(s) they are a part of.
Roles & Responsibilities
- The role of the creative strategist is first and foremost that of a creative generalist. As the creative strategist you will primarily be the guardian of the daily creative output on digital-first/social media platforms for the account(s) that you are in-charge of.
- Your job will entail you fully understanding your client’s brand and owning the brand’s daily creative expression- all the way from ideation to execution. This means you will not only drive creative brainstorms with copywriters, graphic designers and creative managers, but also be responsible for the final creative output on the account/(s), you handle.
- We expect creative generalists at Humour Me to be strategic thinkers who can help bring out the brand’s overall positioning through the strategies they implement. This will require you to think like a content marketer at all times. Researching competitor brands, creators and other content pages across social platforms that compete for attention within the categories that your brand operates in.
- Making decks and leading creative strategy presentations on a quarter to quarter basis for internal teams will be one of your primary functions.
- Ensure delivery times are met and enhance internal communication between various creative department members to ensure you protect the brand’s TOV, positioning and differentiation.
- Being the final line of quality control for daily social media creative and taking ownership of success metrics such as- reach, engagement and efficacy.
- Driving the community management and ORM functions for the brand(s) you are in-charge of to further increase the community engagement scores.
- Making monthly calendars and ensuring creative teams adhere to the publishing schedule you have put down will be your responsibility.
- Being up to date with the latest social media and content trends across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn etc. and implementing best practices in the content you champion.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Content Creation/Social Media Marketing/Advertising with a proven track record in the position with exposure to the creative functions of a digital agency would be preferred.
- Prior experience in creating content marketing strategies would be preferred.
- A Bachelors in Arts, Graphic Design, Literature, Journalism, Film or any other creative field would be preferred.
- Proof of prior creative experience or having a portfolio of creative work you have championed.
- Have excellent communication skills.
