WEEK 22: Breathe

It is that time of year again when Delhi’s air reaches hazardous levels of pollution as we sit around and do nothing about it. I won’t bother going into much detail (what’s the point?), but when every breath is an assault to the lungs it can be a challenge to remain positive. Nevertheless, I shall give it a go.

We are working on a new category of content for Arctic Fox which is photography-driven. I have been assigned the task of managing this particular endeavour. With this content, we have decided to look at a potential long term collaboration with a freelance photographer (if you are a photographer who is interested, hit me up at info@humourme.in). My goal is to not have to micromanage the project and be able to trust whoever we team up with to understand the brand and use their expertise to give us what we need.

This week was spent interacting with different photographers and understanding their processes. We’ve narrowed it down to a few very good candidates, and I’m excited to see what they can do.

In other news, composing the music for the Red Fort show is proving to be one of the most challenging projects I have ever worked on. My main task is to create a central theme – ‘The Song of the Red Fort’, if you will – and all the other scores will be derived from that piece. My challenge is to create a contextual piece that captures the majesty and grandeur of a fort that has endured many incredible events through history. The music must give listeners a sense of time and awe.

I’ll let you know if I manage to pull it off.

See you next week!
